As well as writing and producing music for radio and television commercials, Michael has written and produced jazz programs for New Zealand's 'National Radio', where he has original music rotating currently on air. Michael produced for two jazz vocalists, Lisa Veltman from the band 'The Ministry of Jazz', and Costa Christie from the band 'Deja Blue'.

Lisa Veltman, sang Michael's original pieces including, Really Real, Here To Stay, Touch The Rain, You Can Be Sure and Clear The Way. Lisa also recorded a version of the Gladys Knight hit Midnight Train to Georgia.

This was created at Radio New Zealand's Studio 2 in 1995.
